"Our love affair with Craftsman (Arts and Crafts period) furniture began with a bed. We knew what we wanted, but could not find a suitable Mission style bed in any large furniture store. We met with Jan and immediately were drawn to the many beautiful pieces of furniture she had crafted for her own home. Jan created a beautiful, solid, affordable bed we continue to use to this day.
A few years later we purchased a Craftsman Style Bungalow and knew Jan would be just the person to help add that period flair to our living room. We commissioned Jan to build a mission style sofa based an example we found in an original Stickley Furniture catalogue. She customized its length so that we could stretch out fully, used beautifully grained quarter sawn oak for the legs and included many of the fine details you would find on an original Stickley piece. It wasn't long before my mother asked Jan to create a sofa table to accompany it in our living room. These pieces make the room complete. Jan's talent with wood, passion for her craft, and affordable prices, make her an ideal choice for any lasting piece of furniture or cabinetry you might need in your home."
